Malcolm Pounder is a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) registered with the Society for the Environment, a Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management (MIAQM), and a Member of the Institution of Environmental Sciences (MIEnvSc). He is the founder of Air Dust Odour, an environmental consultancy based in County Durham providing air quality, dust and odour assessments to clients across the United Kingdom.
Malcolm read for his degree at Newcastle University and has spent his career in the environmental sciences, latterly specialising in air quality assessment for planning. Before founding Air Dust Odour he held a principal consultant role with a UK acoustics and air quality practice, leading air quality projects on behalf of national-scale clients. He founded Air Dust Odour to deliver chartered-quality environmental consultancy with the responsiveness and clarity that smaller projects rarely get from larger firms.

- Air Quality Neutral and AQ Positive assessments for London Plan Policy SI 1 compliance on major London schemes
- Diffusion tube monitoring for NO2 baseline establishment, model verification and post-construction compliance, with UKAS-accredited laboratory analysis
